Three stories. Every morning.

Pick a topic: "Formula 1", "semiconductor policy", your city. Each morning you get up to three stories about it, why they matter, and a numbered list of the outlets that reported them.

Every story is sourced

Each story links out to the outlets that reported it. A story we can't ground in real reporting is discarded rather than published.

More than one outlet

We look for the story a second time, asking specifically for coverage from outlets that don't agree with each other, so a story arrives with the range of who reported it, not the first five results.

Why it matters, and how it's framed

Each story comes with a short summary, the reason it's worth your time, and a note on how the coverage differs, then gets out of the way.

Listen instead

Every briefing comes with a spoken version, with lock-screen controls, for the commute or the kitchen.

Arrives when you want it

One notification, at the time you pick, in your time zone. No feed, no infinite scroll, nothing to catch up on.

Support

Something broken, a question, or a story you think we got wrong? Email jesus.ed.sanchez@gmail.com and you'll get a reply from a person. If you're reporting a problem, the device model and OS version help more than anything else.

My briefing didn't arrive.

Check that notifications are on under Settings in the app, and that News Bytes is allowed to notify you in your device's own settings. If a topic had no real news that day, we say so rather than inventing something.

Why does a story have only one source?

Because only one outlet we could find had reported it. We'd rather show you a thin spread honestly than pad it out.

Why only three stories?

Because a briefing you finish is worth more than a feed you don't. Follow a second topic if you want more; each one is its own three.

Can I change when it arrives?

Settings → Delivery time. It's in your device's time zone, and it follows you when you travel.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Delete account, in the app. It's immediate. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what goes.
